Our Team this time…
Not necessarily in order:
Brenda, Kelvin, Stacy, Dillon, Travis, James,
and myself.
We decided that last month was such a success
for God in spite of our efforts that we should try again at the same spot. We
had a limited crew and I for one was somewhat pessimistic and not really “in to
it”. I was praying hard all the way there that God would “heal” my attitude and
show us the way. HE DID!!!
We arrived and started to unload. The usual
swarm of people started to gather and eat. Then Brenda did her usual call for
anyone that needs prayer. An incredible man named Alvie
stepped up. She directed him to me (our usual method) and I asked his name and
what he would like prayer about. He said his faith and perseverance. We started
to pray together. After we prayed he pulled out a pocket Bible (well worn) and
had a photo in it of a ranch house that burned down. He then told me his story.

Then
we met Connie. She was the local Angel. She takes care of the homeless
tirelessly even though she is homeless herself. She made sure that everyone had
food and took food to many who can not travel and walk. She has helped homeless
get jobs in the past and is well loved by everyone. PLEASE pray for her and all
she does to minister to the needy.

We
finally began packing up and said our farewells to our new friends and to our
team members.
Today
we fed sandwiches, chips, cookies, pies, brownies, tea, and bottled water.
Thank
ALL of you again who prayed and who continue praying for this ministry!!
We
also gave out Bibles. Please pray for those people who took them to find wisdom
and God’s Love in them.

coats, shirts, sweaters, gloves, socks, hats, scarves, backpacks, shoes/boots,
duffels, sleeping bags/blankets) or if you would like to come along or donate
toward the food. PLEASE pray about our efforts and especially for these people
listed here!!! Prayers do not cost you ANYTHING!!

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was
thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me
in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick
and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37 Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see
you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40 The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you
did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
